Mom’s Pregnancy Journal ~ Abigail Week 37

June 5-11, 1988

You will get to see me in just a couple of weeks!

You might have been able to tell a little about

my personality from my behavior in the womb.

I can’t wait to see you!

My doctor visit went well. I gained (or rather, YOU gained) three pounds in just two weeks!  The doctor seems to think that you will arrive a little later than expected. I would love to see you on July 8th, but we’ll see . . .

Thursday night the NewSong wives gave us a shower.  We received all of the items we needed ~ a playpen, swing, baby book, etc.  It was so much fun.  Thursday felt like Christmas not only because of the gifts, but Daddy moved your furniture up into your nursery!  It is so beautiful.  He cried after putting it in. 
              

This is such an exciting time for us.

Grammy and Granddaddy came up on Friday to help put the finishing touches in the nursery. They brought a rocking horse for you along with many other gifts. Grammy even cross stitched “Mommy” and “Daddy” pillow cases to use in the hospital.  Decorating has extended beyond your room. We put up a border in the kitchen.
