He Made Us Alive!

BUT GOD – while you were dead, separated from life—with no life, chose to bring together sperm and egg for the purpose of life and made you alive!  Again – this is a true, mind-boggling, beyond-comprehension miracle!  To also think that we can even go before the wonder of that dot of physical life to the fact that everything this being will need for life to the point of death is already tucked inside the cells and minuscule body of this living being.  On top of that, once God calls the heart to strike its first beat, it will continue in perfect rhythm until He calls that life to take on a new, resurrected body.  It is absolutely amazing!

For many, the occurrence of reproduction has become ho-hum.  Perhaps you are one who can experience the gift of bringing forth children into this world without any thought, and you might think with very little action.  I know my husband use to proclaim that I would walk past him and a child would be conceived!

For others, the experience of reproduction painfully and bafflingly escapes them.  They have tried to give sperm and egg the opportunity to unite as one with failed attempts over and over again.  If you are one who has journeyed down this path of grief, I am genuinely sorry.
